Following our review of the Donetello vs Jonny Lawrence two pack (see the review here) we bring you the second of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Cobra Kai cross over figure fights.

Unlike the previous review, this set instantly fairs a bit better in it’s match up as the villionous John Kreese is a much better opponent for Raphael than the match of Lawrence and Donetello. It felt like that pairing was to ensure that fans bought fan favourite Jonny Lawrence and were then stuck with the least interesting Ninja Turtle…no offence to Donetello fans.
In this instance Raphael has the feisty personality to match well with the only true villain from the Cobra Kai side.
Both figures are of great quality, although throughout this series from Playmates it has to be said that the Ninja Turtles do generally look better quality and more premium than the Cobra Kai figures. They all feel a bit small and lacking some of the detail of the Diamond Select Cobra Kai figures. Still, this John Kreese is arguably the best of the Karate Kid favourites.
Raphael looks mean with this teeth out and ready for the fight, and with the great packaging this makes a great collectibel display piece for figure collectors.
