3. If you have Amazon Prime You Can Subscribe to Extreme Improv on Twitch for FREE!

If you have an Amazon Prime account, as so many people do these days, you can give a subscription to one streaming channel on Twitch.tv for free each month!

Normally a Sub would cost a viewer £4.99, and for that a channel on Twitch would recieve about half the money. If you already use Amazon Prime for next day delivery, Prime Video, Prime Music with Alexa etc etc, you are also given one free subscription you can give to a Twitch channel at no additional cost!

That’s right! You can literally send Extreme Improv a paid subscription and it won’t cost you any money as Amazon will pick up the cost!

Here’s how to do it:

  1. If you’ve not already got a Twitch account head over to www.twitch.tv to sign up for one. It’ll only take a couple of minutes.
  2. Once you’re signed up to Twitch head over to https://gaming.amazon.com/links/twitch/manage
  3. Then select ‘Connect a Twitch account‘ and log in with your Twitch account.
  4. Now thatyou’ve connected your Twitch and Amazon accounts head over to ExtremeImprov – Twitch
  5. You should now be on the Extreme Improv Twitch Channel, and just underneath the video there should be a purple bar that says either ‘Follow’ or ‘Subscribe’. If you click follow it will mean you’ll follow Extreme Improv on Twitch and get updates when we go live. You may have to follow to be able to Sub.
  6. Once you’re following Extreme Improv you should have the option to click ‘Subscribe’. Click this and it should bring up some options. One of these will say ‘Prime Subscription’ and will not cost you anything as it is given to you free with Amazon Prime for you to gift a free subscription to a Twitch channel of your choosing.
  7. Congratulations! You have now gifted a free Sub to Extreme Improv XStreamed on Twitch. Many thanks!!

4. Buy an Extreme Improv Shirt, Book, Board Game from the Merch Store

So donations are great, but it’s also really great if you get something for your money too! Fortunately there are loads of things currently on offer from the Extreme Improv XStreamed Merch Store. You can get loads of products including T-shirts, hoodies and other clothing items that faeture the Extreme Improv logo, or funny phrases or photos. You can also get clothing that features the logos of the Extreme Improv Teams such as the Mutant Zombies, Watermelons, or Jesters. Buying something like a shirt with an Extreme Improv XStreamed logo on will not only support the team through the cost of the shirt, but will also be a great way to show your friends that you’re a fan too.

If you want something a bit more substantial to show your support or want to get something so you can start to have a go at doing improv yourself you could get a copy of the Extreme Improv Big Book of Improv Games, or buy the board game Extreme Improv: Improvise Your Way Outta This!

The book is written in easy to follow language and features the rules and tips for how to play over 100 improv games. And what’s more, you can get the book either as a paperback or on Kindle via Amazon, all around the world.

The board game is a great way to introduce friends and family to fun improv games and challenges, and also feature over 100 suggestion cards filled up with suggestions for characters, scenes and scenarios on them. These in particular are a super valuable resource for an improv director or teacher as when used in combinations can give you literally millions of possible scenarios.

Any or all of the above also make great gifts, so if you’ve already got the above stuff, you can always get another for a friend or relative.

5. Subscribe to our Social Media Channels

A great way to help your favourite content creators is to tell your friends and family about our shows, website and products. Word of mouth, or shares online are by far the best way you can help Extreme Improv grow.

This can be as simple as sharing when our show goes live on your Facebook timeline, or sharing one of our new articles on Twitter.

If you want to go the extra mile, by all means send a message to people on your friends lists who you think may enjoy the show and ask them to watch the shows with you or just to help spread the word.

One great feature on Facebook is that you can go to any Like Page, such as the Extreme Improv one, and invite your friends to like the page.

This can be done by clicking the three dots under the title of the page, and choosing where it says ‘Invite Friends’. This will bring up people on your friends list and you can send invites for them to like the page. It’s very simple, but very effective, and if they have similar interests to you they may be pleased to get the recommendation.

7. Buy a Ticket to Our Live Shows

And lastly, if you want to support Extreme Improv, and the opportunity comes up in your local town then buy a ticket and come see us perform our shows live! Extreme Improv used to reply completely on ticket sales from live shows, but since 2020 we have had to expand into all the ways mentioned above. Whenever we do have live shows, or workshops it’d be brilliant to have you all come and enjoy the show live in person!
