1. Pokemon Centre Mega Tokyo
One of the highlights of the trip to Tokyo for me was the opportunity to spend some time in the Pokemon Centre Mega Tokyo, which is best described as an equivalent to a Disney Store, but one that only features Pokemon. Even if you’re not a Pokemon fan it’d be hard to not be impressed by how massive Pokemon has become when you see the wealth of different things in the store.
With about 800 or 900 different Pocket Monsters in the series nowadays this store had plush toys of just about all of them, hats based on Pikachu ears, trading cards, coin machines where you can print your own Pokemon collector coins and life sized statues of some of the creatures like Charizard.
