Japan was up there as one of my favourite places to visit in the world. From experiences the culture to getting amazing food, its a wonderful place to visit. It was extra special for me because there are so many places that appeal to my geeky side. Japan loves pop culture and there are loads of things to see all over Tokyo. Here’s a quick selection of 5 great geeky things to see in Tokyo
5. NJPW Store
A small shop to visit, but a great one for wrestling fans. The official New Japan Pro Wrestling Store in Tokyo is a short distance away from the famous Tokyo Dome where New Japan hold their Wrestle Kingdom events each year. The shop features a stairwell to get to the main shop and as you go up or down the stairs you’ll see hundreds of signatures on the wall from the wrestling stars that have been in the shop. There are also cardboard cut outs that are life sized and an original championship belt in the store.
A great place if you want to get some Bullet Club TShirts or other merch, but be warned you wont find non NJPW stuff here. There are other pro wrestling based shops in Tokyo if you want that.
