Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed the first official trailer for the upcoming event series Star Wars The Book Of Boba Fett. The series which is based on the popular character from the original series of films will also serve as a spinoff from The Mandalorian which introduced the Bounty Hunter in its second season.

The trailer doesn’t give too much away other than that now that Boba has taken charge after the events of the Mandalorian Season 2 finale, that within the world of Bounty Hunters and thieves there is little trust. This will be the first real opportunity to delve into the character in real depth outside Star Wars spinoffs and in official canon and is sure to show more of the character than we’ve ever learned about before.
From the same team that brought us The Mandalorian this is certain to be up there in terms of action and storytelling and December 29th can’t roll around quick enough for this next chapter in the Star Wars saga.
