Netflix have finally released news and a definitive release date for Part 2 of their Masters of the Universe Revelation series.
The show, which is a direct sequel to the classic 1980s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon series will get it’s part 2 released on November 23rd.
The series which is directed by Kevin Smith was met with a very mixed reception when part 1 was released earlier in the year. Whilst the art direction was universally praised, many fans of the classic show were disappointed that the He-Man/Prince Adam character was given a relatively minor role in the first half of the series.
The show features a more adult storyline and features the character Teela as a new lead as she must work with classic enemies like Evil Lynn in order to save Eternia from new threats. Luke Skywalker/Joker actor Mark Hamil voices the role of franchise villain Skeletor in the show.
