Link Twilight Princess
So many fans were overjoyed when we got the first look at Twilight Princess and saw a return of adult Link and the more realistic deisgn of the series after the toon look of Wind Waker. This figure is begging to be set up in a creepy and atmospheric woodland setting and used for photoshoots.
Wedding Mario
Wedding Mario is just exactly what Nintendo fans have wanted since the original Super Mario Bros game. Mario rescues the Princess and they live happily ever after. It took 30 years to get this far and whilst the game may not fully go through with the wedding these Amiibos allow fans to imagine their own happy ending for the legendary plumber and Princess couple.
Wedding Peach
Nintendo perhaps realised that other princess Amiibos looked like wedding cake decorations and so worked into Super Mario Oddysee the perfect storyline excuse to have this amazing Princess Peach who looks stunning in her wedding dress to complete the set with Mario and Bowser.
Pac-Man
One of the most enduring characters in all of video games, Pac-Man pre-dates even Mario and Donkey Kong, and is therefore the oldest character available in Amiibo form. This figure of course takes on the modern Pac-Man design rather than the pizza with a slice missing look from the original game, but is absolutely awesome.
Charizard
The beastly expression on this Charizard’s face, combined with the framing of the wings and the ready to stop over everything in his way stance makes this the best of the Pokemon Amiibos.
Daruk
The most characterful of all the Zelda Breath of the Wild characters. Big, bold and brash, Daruk is a great character in the game and the best of the bunch of the Champions Amiibo set that you can get in a 4 pack.
8-bit Link
After the success of the 8-bit Mario, it was only a matter of time before Nintendo put out this incredible 8-bit Link. He looks exactly as he appeared in the original game on the NES and will fill joy into the hearts of kids of the era who loved exploring the vast Hyrule world for hours and grew a connection to this exact Link design.
Banjo and Kazooie
Fans of a certain age will remember Banjo-Kazooie for the Nintendo 64 and just love that this is a thing. The giant Jiggy on the base is cool and you can really get a sense of the playfulness between Banjo and Kazooie in this design.
Zelda and Loftwing
The Skyward Sword Zelda design really shows her personality as a caring indivudual and her connection with her Loftwing. It makes a nice change from the more typical princess styling of many of the other Zelda Amiibos.
Cloud Player 2
This cool alternative cloud Amiibo is as cool as Cloud himself. The pose with the Buster sword is awesome and shows off Cloud’s calm attitude, but lets you know that he’s always ready to kick ass!
