Dr Mario
It’s amazing that you can get a Dr Mario themed Amiibo complete with pill. The only thing missing is little bug for the pill to defeat.
Diddy Kong
Like the first Donkey Kong Amiibo, there’s something that misses the mark compared to the original Donkey Kong Country design here, but it’s still really good with testure to the fur and action based pose.
Incineroar
One of the most detailed Pokemon Amiibos, this may not be your favourite Pokemon, but it made sense to include Incineroar in the Smash Bros game. This figure is bound to get the character lots more air time and fans.
Link’s Awakening Link
A controversial redesign of Link which perhaps is only topped in controversy by the Wind Waker Link, this mini Link with the Funko Pop vibe is a great variation of Link for anyone’s collection after many similar looking Links where the main difference is the item the hero of time is holding.
Simon
Once again the chain whip is the thing that impresses most in this Castlevania Amiibo. Serious look and dripping in detail, this is the best Castlevania Amiibo currently available.
Pokemon Trainer
With all the hundreds of Pokemon characters available to catch it’s easy to overlook that you don’t actually play as them in the main games. Instead you play their trainer and this Pokemon Trainer, which isn’t quite Ash, but may as well be, will be sure to impress fans of the anime series.
Ice Climbers
The characters that were excluded form the Wii U Smash game because of limitations of the 3DS version get double the love in the Switch era with this tag team figure to satisfy fans of the original NES game.
Palutena
The pose, the framing, the colour. These elements all combine for a great Amiibo which will even catch the eye and impress non gaming fans.
Mipha
With so many Link Amiibos available it was great for Nintendo to spread the love to other characters in the Zelda universe and Breath of the Wild allowed us to get Mipha and more.
Robin
The sword is cool, as is the jacket. But for us the inclusion of the book complete with fine detail makes the Robin Amiibo a winner.
