We’re half way through the Quarter Final rounds of the Extreme Improv XStreamed World Championship 2022, and the picture of who will be entering the Semi Finals is starting to take shape.
In a change from the previous two years, this Championship features only four Quart Final rounds instead of eight. Despite this, the number of performers involved in the Championship remains almost the same, and more performers are taking part in each Quarter Final.
In another change from previous years, where as the Semi Finals would feature a total of 16 performers, this year’s looks set to feature a minimum of 20. Each of the loaded Quarter Finals will see half of the participants go into the next rounds.
As you can see from the brackets, the first 10 semi finalists have been set, and so far include previous year’s finalists Dave Green and Korri Birch, current Extreme Improv XStreamed Team Champion Steven Disbrow and new comer to XStreamed Sidrah Ahmad Chan.
As the Championship features people from all over the world, the Semi Finalists so far feature performers from the England, United States of America, Canada, India, and Brazil. Other performers who are taking part in the Championship hail from Spain, Greece, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Australia.
As well as the Championship shows, there are also many guest shows taking place as part of the festival including Emma T and Bella, Swatt Deeds, and Tragically Unscripted.
