NJPW
Wyatt doesn’t seem the most natural fit for New Japan Pro Wrestling with his over the top character in contrast with the much more grounded work they do in New Japan. But this may be an opportunity for Bray to reinvent himself entirely and not play off his previous cult leader or monster persona. As a former world champion who is a big star who is recognisable worldwide he would be a big get for NJPW and with the world opening up bit by bit and NJPW’s desire to do bigger business in the US, a signing like Wyatt may be a prospect that they would consider for mainstream appeal.
Wyatt will probably end up back in WWE, or in AEW, but if he were to look outside of those as options it feels like NJPW is most likely as the place with the biggest profile and a place where he could work limited dates and still leave the door open for a return to the US after a short while. If he were to appear in Impact, ROH or NWA at this stage it would elevate them, but possibly lower his own value.
