Nintendo and Bandai Namco have announced that a new game Pac-Man 99 will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The game, which was announced today will be avilable to download tomorrow (!) and will be a competitive battle royale game based on the classic aracde game.
The game will pit players against 98 other players from around the world and you have to eat power pellets and dodge the famous ghosts Pinky, Blinky, Winky and Clyde as you try to go the distance and be the last Pac-Man standing.
This game follows the previous releases of Tetris 99 and Super Mario 35 which are both battle royale takes on classic arcade and NES era games. The release of Pac-Man 99 follows the controversial removal of Super Mario 35 from the Switch online service last week as it reached the end of it’s advertised limited release.
We’ll be sure to have a review of the game when it comes out tomorrow, so check back for more Gaming Articles, and you’ll be able to see the video review on the Extreme Improv Xstreamed YouTube Channel.
