When Pokemon Go launched a few years ago it wowed people by bringing Pokemon one step closer to being in the real world. Now the studio behind the game have teamed with with Microsoft to show a proof of concept of how this could be taken one step further.
Hololens is still far from a consumer ready product, but it’s good to see that when it does eventually become a reality that we may be able to use it to catch Pokemon and see wild pocket monsters walking around in the real world without it being limited to just through the AR feature on our phones.
If this becomes a reality it’s sure to start off the whole debates that came with Pokemon Go’s original release as people wander onto other people’s property to get a closer look at the Pokemon and grab some Pokemon Snap style photography.
