Find out about the new show for geeks from XStreamed
We’re now a little over a week sinc e the official launch of the www.xstreamed.tv website, and with that launch came the announcement of several new shows. These shows will expand the schedule of shows beyond just improv, and introduce several new formats.
The first of these new shows to debut is Geek Battle which will start on Wednesday March 10th at 7pm UK Time (GMT) on the Extreme Improv XStreamed YouTube Channel.
The Geek Battle show is a comedy panel show which combine comedy challenges, with quiz and panel discussion elements and will focus on all kinds of geek culture related movies, TV shows, video games and comic books.
If you’re a fan of the likes of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Avengers, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Justice League, Back to the Future, Nintendo, Playstation and so on you’ll enjoy the show.
The challenges the performers will face include games and challanges that will be familiar to fans of Extreme Improv XStreamed such as Extreme Monologue, Category Battles, and Worlds Worst, but will also include challenges where performers have to debate unlikley subjects such as which of the Justice League would be the best first date, or pitch the best worst ideas for spin offs to the Lord of the Rings characters.
In true Extreme Improv style there will be a fun competitive element and audience interaction with opportunities to give suggestions and vote on who is their Geek of the Week!
Geek Battle is one of several new shows coming to the Extreme Improv YouTube Channel over the coming weeks, along with the Slam Jam Wrestling Show, the Wham Bam Poetry Slam, X Minutes of Improv and the Jesters Jam.
