Word on the street is that Riggs and Murtaugh will be back from one final outing on the silver screen.
It would seem that we may get the long awaited fifth Lethal Weapon and that series star Mel Gibson will direct following the request of original director Richard Donner who personally asked Gibson to direct the film before his death.
There are no story details yet but it can be expected that series stars Danny Glover and Rene Russo would return. Less certain would be Joe Pesci who hasn’t been mostly inactive in films over the last 20 plus years since Lethal Weapon 4 came out.
It’ll be interesting to see what the plot of the film will be seeing as the films have the long running catch phrase of “I’m too old for this shit.”
