An epic finale took place in the Extreme Improv XStreamed World Championship tournament which was filled with laughs, drama and brilliant performances.
The show, which featured an all star line up of Grand Finalists was won by Llaura Hughes in a close faught contest that also included Bob Bedore, Korri Birch, Quinn Strand, Sujith Prathap, Steven Disbrow, Rob Kirby and Jimmy Mac.
The show which was watched by viewers worldwide had featured early technical issues which threatened play, but the audience stuck with the show which quickly gained the highest amount of views and comments of any Extreme Improv Xstreamed show this year.
Korri Birch was forced to make a shock early exit form the show due to circumstances beyond his control and this changed the dynamic of some of the games which followed.
Llaura Hughes, who had demonstrated consistantly strong performances throughout the tournament won the final round which first featured a round of the Impression Battle Royal Game before a round of Extreme Monologue.
Our brilliant audience added to the success of the show with their creative suggestions and great show of support for their favourite performers. The final vote was close across the board and Llaura was able to get enough votes combined with points earned throughout the show to take the title.
I’d like to thank everyone who took part in the Extreme Improv Xstreamed World Championship tournament, and to everyone who has watched the shows. I’d also like to extend congratulations to all the finalists for their excellent level of performances and especially to our new Extreme Improv Xstreamed World Championship Llaura Hughes!
