Jet Lagged And Loving It Miami Florida USA Travel Vlog/Blog

I’m super excited to start sharing our adventures from Florida! With so many videos to edit and with the situation in the world it’s taken me some time to get around to going through all the photos and videos from our time in Florida in 2019.

As we visited so many places in Florida within a short time I’ve broken this blog and vlog series into sections and this first one will just focus on our short stay in Miami. If you’ve never been my main reccomedation of place to visit would be the incredible Miami Beach with is up there with the most lushious beaches I’ve ever visited.

You’ll see form the photos and video how incredible it looked there and was brilliant weather. Also keep in mind that we visited Florida at the very start of March! There is a reason they call it the Sunshine State after all!

I could have easily stayed on the beach for hours, although make sure you take lots of sun cream as I burnt to a crisp within the first hour as my British just out of February skin was not prepared for the Miami heat! We did take the opportunity to take dips in the water to cool down though and the atmosphere and views made for a great afternoon.

I would have loved to have gone out on the ocean here, and although we would take bigger dips into the sea later during our time in Florida, our short stay meant hiring a jet ski or boat for the day was too tight on time.

If you’re looking for places to chill out there are loads of resturants, bars and clubs along ocean drive, and we parked ourselves next to the incredibly busy Palace bar, which is Miami’s Number 1 LGBTQ+ bar to enjoy the Drag Brunch show where you could get unlimited mimosas whilst enjoying the larger than life show put on by the drag queens performing.

After lunch we checked out some more views and then headed back to the beach to enjoy the rest of our day. If you have more time available to you across a few days you should definitely check out Miami Zoo, take a day cruise or check out Bayside Marketplace…or you could do like we did and make the most of the beach and stay there as much as you can!

That’s all for our short stay in Miami, but in our next Jet Lagged and Loving It blog/vlogs we’ll be exploring loads more places in Florida including many of the major theme parks, the Everglades, Key Largo and even performing with Extreme Improv in the Central Florida Improv Festival!
