With people in the UK not currently able to travel abroad, it felt a good time to start sharing some travel blogs/vlogs about some of the places that are great to visit in the UK. And of course these will be great places for people outside the UK to come and visit when they are able to come to the UK again.
Bibury in Gloucestershire in a small and charming village which some have called the most beautiful in the UK. With it’s old fashioned buildings and famous Arlington Row, which are complimented by views of fish, ducks and swans leading form the trout farm in the centre of the village, it is a really lovely place to visit on a warm spring or summer’s day.
Make sure you check out the travel vlog we captured during our time in the village where we check out the sights and have our trademark silly conversations.
Arlington Row is a famous street of cottages that many may not instantly recognise, but most in the UK who have travelled will be very familiar with. The street is featured in every British passport with a depiction on the inside cover. You’ll likely see people up and down the street taking photos and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Whilst here you could also stop for tea and snacks before going into the trout farm to see the grounds and appreciate the fish. You’ll also be a short walk from Swans nests and are likley to meet a friendly duck or two.
In our short time in the village we also took a moment to visit the local church grounds and town hall, and true to everything else in the village, the buildings ooze personality and have character in their deisgn.
