So whether you’re gearing up for pancake day, or if you just had a hankering for some of the tasty cakes of pan, we have you covered!
So here’s what you need:
2 Eggs – Level up your pancake with a hearty duck egg! Boom! If you have an ostrich egg even better!
Semi-skimmed milk. Have a cheeky drink of it on the side for some white moustache action! Shazam!
Plain flour – half a cup should do the trick, but be careful to check that spelling of flour. you don’t want no daisys in your batter mix! Wallop!
Other things you’ll need: A frying pan, oil, a mixing bowl, a whisk and a stove capable of fire! Oh and don’t forget an eligible spatula!
Method:
1: Crack the eggs, pour the milk and dump the flour into a large mixing bowl. Stir that baby with a whisk until you’re in a right frenzy.
2: Smash a dollop of the batter into a hot pan with a drizzle of your mamma’s finest olive oil in and cook until it looks ready to flip over.
3. Flip that bad boy over and try not to splash the ceiling if you’re over excited.
4. Cook on the other side until golden.
5. Serve immediately and hit that sucker with your choice of lemon and sugar, syrup, or go full monkey business by chopping up some banana, peanut butter and Nutella and eat that punk before it gets cold feet and runs away.
Savoury Option
Between steps 2 and 3 feel free to throw some cheese and ham in there for a savoury treat.
