Some see the Pot Noodle as a tasty snack, whilst others see them as inedible abominations which should be restricted to college students and the last resort option for hot food that you can prepare when arriving at a bad B and B that only has a coffee machine as a source for hot water.
Whichever side of the fence you fall on, you may not ever have considered that hiding within the steaming pot of yellow gloopy water there is the potential of a meal to rival the greatest of dishes from a five star restaurant…OK well neither do we, but here’s some tips of how to make the most of the humble Pot Noodle.
If you’ve never tried it before, we advise you to try throwing your Pot Noodles into a frying pan! The results are shockingly good.
Here’s the steps:
- Boil the kettle.
- Pour the hot water into your Pot Noodle just like you normally would.
- Leave it to stand for five minutes so that dry noodles can absorb as much water as possible.
- Empty the noodles along with all remaining liquid into a frying pan on a medium heat.
- Keep stirring until the water cooks off to become a sticky sauce.
- Boom! Eat it fast!
Your noodles will now become one with the flavour, have a richer texture and have some bonus gooey lumps which are just as delicious as they are disgusting! Bon Appetit!
