Here are some of the highlights:
The Extreme Improv XStreamed World Championship Tournament
Following the success of last year’s Championship, we will hold the second virtual improv World Championship tournament with performers from all over the world taking part in this multi night tournament. Tournament shows start on Monday July 19th at 8pm UK Time and will take place almost every day until the Grand Finale on Saturday July 31st.
Welcome Back to America
The first of many guest shows will be Welcome Back to America with DB Frick on Thursday July 15th at 10pm UK Time. DB has performed with Extreme Improv XStreamed since his debut at the 2020 World Championship, and it will be exciting to have him bring his own show to Extreme Improv for the first time.
Don’t Mess
Featuring a team of female and non-binary performers from around the world Don’t Mess is a very exciting group who have formed in the Zoom era of improvised theatre, and their shows explore what can be achieved on Zoom. The cast features many performers who will be familiar to Extreme Improv audiences, including last year’s World Championship Grand Finalist Sarah Davies and Brenna Judkins who will also be performing Stand Up in the festival as well as bringing Distaster Time Interactive Improv and a Puppet Workshop to the Festival.
Don’t Mess will play at 7pm on Tuesday July 27th
Improv Chattanooga Bring Two Shows to the Festival
Improv Chattanooga have been great collaborators with Extreme Improv over the last year, with many performers playing across both companies shows. It’s always fun to have Improv Chattanooga play with Extreme Improv Xstreamed and at the Festival they will bring their Pants On Fire and 1 Star Reviews shows.
1 Star Reviews will air live on Thursday 22nd July at 10pm UK Time, and Pants on Fire will take place on Sunday July 25th at 10pm UK Time.
