WWE have reported on their website that they have come to terms on the releases of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett, Lana and Buddy Murphy. This is shock mid year release spree which for many was unexpected after the many releases that already came earlier this year after WrestleMania.
The biggest shocker here is obviously Braun Strowman who the WWE have pushed for years in a main event position and even had defeat Goldberg at last year’s WrestleMania to become Universal Champion.
At one stage, many expected huge things for Aleister Black, but since leaving NXT he has just floated in the mid card until WWE stopped using him.
It can be expected that many of these will end up in AEW, Impact or New Japan Pro Wrestling.
